TRACIT is examining how illicit traders exploit vulnerabilities at critical nodes in global supply chains:
Findings will be used to elaborate the first ever cross-sector Business Report on Illicit Trade that will guide the development of targeted solutions to be shared across industries. Information is being collected from sectors: agri-foods, alcohol, fisheries, forestry, pesticides, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, precious metals/gemstones, tobacco, personal health/consumer health and other forms of counterfeit and pirate products.
Part 1 of the survey asks general questions about your company’s details.
Part 2 of the survey focuses on your company’s experience in relation to six supply chain “hotspots” commonly exploited by illicit traders (you are free to choose 1 or all 6 sets of questions):
1. Air transportation
2. Maritime transportation
3. Postal systems/Express carriers
4. Border control / Customs
5. Free trade zones
6. Online platforms
Part 3 of the survey collects observations on how illicit trade intersects with other criminal activity, such as money laundering, corruption, organized crime and human trafficking/ forced labor.
Please note that you are not required to answer all questions, and once you have started the survey you will have the ability to save progress and continue later.
