Panama is a vibrant Central American nation known for its strategic location and bustling trade routes. Unfortunately, it grapples with the issue of illicit trade. Panama's position as a key transit hub connecting North and South America, coupled with its dynamic economy, has made it susceptible to various forms of illicit trade. From counterfeit products and smuggled goods to illegal wildlife trade and money laundering, Panama faces significant challenges in combating these illicit activities.
