Objectives

TRACIT is examining how illicit traders exploit vulnerabilities at critical nodes in global supply chains:

  • to identify where illicit practices are common to more than one form of illicit trade.
  • to share effective remedies across sectors.

Findings will be used to elaborate the first ever cross-sector Business Report on Illicit Trade that will guide the development of targeted solutions to be shared across industries. Information is being collected from sectors: agri-foods, alcohol, fisheries, forestry, pesticides, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, precious metals/gemstones, tobacco, personal health/consumer health and other forms of counterfeit and pirate products.

The survey consists of six targeted questions on your company’s experience related to illicit trade, supply chain “hotspots” and associated criminal activity.
