About TRACIT
The Transnational Alliance to Combat Illicit Trade (TRACIT) is an independent, business-led initiative to mitigate the economic and social damages of illicit trade by strengthening government enforcement mechanisms and integrating supply chain controls across industry sectors.
TRACIT addresses the systemic weaknesses that enable illicit trade, recognizing that different forms of illegal activity often rely on the same criminal methods and regulatory loopholes. We work across sectors to align policy, strengthen enforcement, and coordinate international responses. |
Our Mission
Illicit trade has grown beyond the capacity of individual governments and companies to manage alone. TRACIT was created to mobilize the private sector across industries, sectors, and borders — delivering a coordinated response that achieves more than any single actor could.
Our members include leading businesses and trade organizations confronting illicit trade in all its forms. Together, we provide a respected, unified voice to influence government priorities and drive action through international governance bodies. Join the effort to combat illicit trade.
